This is the new designed bedroom at my new apt. The walls and ceiling are covered with fabric. The bed is suppounded by pillows.
This is how it looks during the day - just a bit of light glowing through the windows. Its completly dark at night.

Calm gray + blue bedroom: 'Swiss Coffee' by Benjamin Moore

Designer Eric Cohler combined cool blue and pale gray in this Park Avenue bedroom, where walls are painted Benjamin Moore's Swiss Coffee, one of the company's most popular gray paints. Curtains and shade are Dandelion from Q Collection; Greek key trim from Samuel & Sons. Silk carpet by Royalton. Silver Eggs floor lamps by Barbara Cosgrove.
Asked if he thinks blue can be too cold for interior design, Cohler said, "Not necessarily. The client wanted the room to have a sense of calm. And at what I call the "violet hour," which is my favorite time, at the end of the day, the light comes into the apartment from the west and the room is aglow."

Things are starting to come together at home. It's nice to have a bedroom that I want to show people. I finished the curtians this morning. The windows face east and I ws going to cover them with foil if I didn't get something to cover them in the morning. I thought the blue would be too much, but I like it now with everything in the room.

Bedroom finished! Blue Wall Painting is just quick art done by me with 3 square canvases and oil paint. The paint used on cancas back is the same as used for the cieling light.

Cheerful glamour: Blue + green guest bedroom by Jamie Drake
In the guest bedroom of a New York apartment, interior designer Jamie Drake used a color he calls Prussian blue -- it's a handwoven yarn-dyed raffia from Holly Hunt. The Avery Boardman twin bed is upholstered in two Bergamo prints: Hyde Park for the seat and Rosegarten for the cushions. The throw pillows are in Schumacher's Zenyatta Mondatta. The George Smith Norris Chair is in Palmarola by Pierre Frey, the walnut-and-brass end tables from Buck House.
Drake's advice about ceilings? Paint them. "Color makes a ceiling seem higher. It lifts your eye and takes the lid off the box. I tend to like ceilings on the light side — light, subtle, and flat. The living room's is painted taffy, a kind of golden beige. The master bedroom's is the pink of a lady's slipper orchid." The only time not to paint a ceiling, he says, is when "there's beautiful plasterwork. Color would only detract."

Blue-gray dining room: Benjamin Moore 'Cloudy Sky'
Designer Candice Olson gave this dining room a glamorous makeover. While it's too formal for my tastes, I do appreciate the color palette and touches of Lucite and velvet upholstery. Walls are painted Cloudy Sky by Benjamin Moore.
Above the rectangular dining table (a birch-veneer top set on chocolate-finished maple legs), Olson hung a six-light Lucite-and silver chandelier that echoes two crystal table lamps on the birch console table. An 8-by-10-foot Persian rug repeats the color palette of the one on the living room floor, but varies the pattern.
